Mads, Madsen or Mads Peter Madsen (to be precisely!) is our dog number two – he entered our lives in October 1995 – brought to the door by Anette & Ove Larsen, Kennel Blåskæg’s.
He is always full of fun – you just have to look at him and his tail will be wagging and he will say weird sounds!
Mads loves attention and when he was still a part of the show ring, he would love it when people was applauding him (I used to handle him in junior showmanship). He became Danish Champion in 1997.
Obedience is also one of Madsens big things – both in training and competitions.
Through the years, Mads have been giving us some scares concerning his health – we have been about to loose him a couple of times.

Now he is 10 years old and still going strong (knock on wood!).

December 8 2006: This morning was the last time I saw Mads! I had to go to the Vet with him because he wasn't feeling well. The Vet kept him for a full check-up. I think, at that piont, I knew that this was the final goodbye and that I would not see him again... I was right! Three hours later he had left this world and crossed the Rainbowbridge to Dreamland.
